The chapter is part of the national Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA), whose overall mission is “to open the world of communication to people with hearing loss by providing information, education, support, and advocacy.”

Workplace Giving

A simple way to support HLAA Dallas through your employer

Workplace giving allows employees to make small, automatic donations to the HLAA Dallas Chapter through their employer’s payroll system. It’s one of the easiest and most effective ways to support our local hearing-loss community — and most companies already have the tools in place to do it.

Whether you give $2 per paycheck or $20, your contribution stays in North Texas and helps us provide meetings, captioning, education, and resources for people living with hearing loss.

How Workplace Giving Works

1. Check your company’s giving or HR portal

Most employers offer a workplace giving program, payroll deduction, or matching gifts. Look for a section called:

  • Giving / Payroll Donations
  • Employee Charity Program
  • Matching Gifts
  • Workplace Philanthropy
  • Benevity, YourCause, CyberGrants, United Way, or another giving platform

Search for HLAA Dallas Chapter by name or use our EIN below.

2. Choose HLAA Dallas as your nonprofit

If your company uses a giving platform, simply select us.
If we’re not listed, your HR team can add us using this information:

3. Select an amount to give each paycheck

Even small recurring donations — $2, $5, or $10 — add up over the year and make a major difference for our volunteer-run chapter.

4. Your employer sends the donation automatically

Donations are sent monthly or quarterly directly to HLAA Dallas.
You don’t need to do anything after setup.

Matching Gifts

Many companies match employee donations 1:1 or even 2:1.
If your employer offers matching gifts, your contribution goes twice as far without costing you anything extra.

To check if your company matches donations, ask HR or look under “Matching Gifts” in your giving portal.
